Mallee Mates Working Dog School II will address farmers feeling anxious, stressed, lonely and isolated during drought conditions.

The program will contract a mental health/wellbeing coach Kelly Barnes and working dog trainers to run a working dog school in Ouyen.

The workshop series will run for 4 days over 8 weeks, which will enable the dogs and their owners to progress and transform in a trusted environment with other like-minded stock producers. The dog trainers will teach low stress stock handling skills while Kelly will incorporate social and emotional wellbeing group activities into the workshop tea and lunch breaks.
